Corrosion Management group:
Asset Management

Turnkey Asset Management

We bring every stage of asset management under one roof. From preparation, specialist access and NDT through inspection and condition assessment to maintenance, repairs and remedial works, we manage the whole process from start to finish, with a single point of contact.

One partner, start to finish

Most assets are looked after by a chain of contractors: one to clean, one for access, one to inspect, another to repair. Bringing those stages together means your assets are inspected, maintained and managed safely, efficiently and cost-effectively, while maximising their structural integrity, reliability and service life.

  • A single point of contact from preparation to maintenance
  • Fewer handovers, shorter outages
  • Hazardous coatings and waste managed throughout
  • Records and reports for every stage

Safety, compliance and cost-effectiveness

Health, safety and compliance are at the forefront of how we work. Where applicable, Fitness for Service assessments evaluate structural integrity, identify potential risks and establish whether an asset remains suitable for continued operation.

Our recommendations are clear and practical, helping you prioritise remedial works, manage risk, avoid unnecessary expenditure and get the longest safe, reliable service life from each asset.

1. Enabling works and access

We clean bridges, tanks, vessels and pipelines so they can be inspected, removing corrosion and paint where NDT and visual inspection need bare steel. Coatings are tested for hazardous materials such as lead and chromium, and hazardous waste is removed.

Confined space entry and rescue, and rope access, reach complex structures for inspection and maintenance.

2. Inspection and assessment

Inspections to EEMUA 159, API 510 and API 653, non-destructive testing, paint inspection, corrosion surveys and valve testing establish the condition of the asset.

We follow up with Fitness for Service reports where applicable, prioritised recommendations and an asset management programme for the asset.

3. Preventive maintenance and remedial works

We carry out the remedial actions from the inspection report, maintaining your assets before they reach failure limits rather than waiting for something to go wrong.

  • RPR heat induction, laser removal and grit blasting for coating and tank lining removal
  • Corrosion protection systems
  • Removal of hazardous paints such as hexavalent chromium
  • Bird proofing
  • Composite wraps for steel repairs
  • Removal of chromium-containing insulation and installation of replacement insulation

4. Ongoing maintenance programmes

After the inspection, assessment and remedial works, we offer a maintenance programme tailored to the risks and the work carried out. This may be as simple as an annual visual inspection to make sure areas stay well maintained and minor actions are dealt with.
