Preventive Maintenance & Corrosion Protection

Preventive maintenance means maintaining assets before they reach failure limits, rather than waiting for something to go wrong. We carry out the remedial actions from the inspection report: removing old coatings and linings, applying new corrosion protection, repairing steel with composite wraps, bird proofing, and replacing hazardous insulation.

Afterwards, a maintenance programme tailored to the asset keeps it in good order between inspections.

Choosing the right removal method matters, especially where coatings contain lead or hexavalent chromium. We use induction, laser and abrasive blasting methods depending on the coating, the asset and the site.
